does anyone have a good strategy or know a build that will help a derv solo this guy?

im after his scythe for the grasp of grenth elite skill...

(yes i searched, said i don't have sufficient priveleges to do so however incase this has been asked)

I would suggest looking in the campfire section of this website...also another good place is www.guildwiki.org i think thats the site to Guild wars wiki. hrm not sure what NPC you are talking about exactly but these suggestions should point u in the right direction.

umm Acolyte of Grenth has the Elite Skill Avatar of Grenth, and I do believe it would be impossible or atleast near to impossible to solo him due to the fact that his fort is filled with every class(cept for sin and rit) IIRC and he can deal a buttload of damage and rend enchantments, if you are looking to capture the elite skills Grenth's Grasp, Bubahl Icehands has that skill and is located on the beach in Marga Coast. Bubahl drops the green Bubahl's Grasp, while the Acolyte of Grenth drops Grenth's Grasp. I hope this has helped you out atleast a little bit. Good Luck
